Privacy policy
Weighed is a nutrition tracker made by Bloomify (14736605 Canada Inc.), which is responsible for your data. You log meals, mostly by photographing them, and it works out the numbers. This page explains what that involves for your data, in plain terms. Questions go to hello@weighed.app.
The short version
- No ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, no selling or renting your data. There are no analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.
- Meal photos, notes and food names are sent to an AI service to be read, but only after you agree to it in the app. You can withdraw that at any time.
- Friends and groups see only what you switch on. Sharing is off until you turn it on.
- Deleting your account deletes your data, photos included.
What we store

We share data with no one else, except where the law requires it.
What friends and groups can see
By default, nothing. In Profile you choose exactly what to share: calories, protein, daily totals, full meals, weight trend, fasting or your weekly summary. People you connect with see only those items. Comments you write on someone's day are visible to that person and to others who can see that day.
Your choices
- AI reading. Withdraw consent in Profile. Photo and note reading stops straight away. Entering meals yourself, barcode scanning and your saved foods keep working.
- Export. Profile has a full export of your data.
- Delete. Delete your account in Profile, or at weighed.app/delete-account. Your account, meals, photos, foods, weigh-ins, friendships, comments, notification tokens and error reports are removed from the live service straight away, and from automatic daily disk snapshots within 5 days. It cannot be undone. Start fresh in Profile deletes your log and keeps your account.
- Notifications. Reminders are off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off in Profile or in your phone's settings.
Health information
Weighed is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Weight and nutrition data from Apple Health or Health Connect is used only to show your progress in Weighed. It is never used for advertising, never shared with the services above except as part of a summary you ask for, and never sold.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Photos are served only through signed links that expire.
Children
Weighed is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
